Our Movable Type-based Internet environment includes TVWeek.com, e-mail newsletters, and a new, video-heavy Web site.

Job Responsibilities:
The position will give the right candidate an opportunity to build and maintain news sites covering the most exciting developments in the media business. Job responsibilities will include:
•Developing Web pages to package news stories, video, graphics and podcasts
•Consulting on creation of new Web products
•Keeping news, blog, video and graphics fresh on site
•Creating daily and weekly e-mail products
•Processing graphics
•Helping to upload content from the print publication to the Web and uploading video
•Maintaining site integrity; eliminating spam
•Managing subscribe/unsubscribe requests
•Interacting with hosting company
•Creating promotional copy referring readers from the print product to the Web
•Ensuring ad placement is correct

Job Requirements:
•Relevant degree
•We need a Movable Type-savvy Web pro whose toolkit includes HTML, Ajax, XML,java_script.
•Expertise in video encoding, php and CGI a plus.
•Minimum of (3) years of demonstrated mastery of the above skills
•Must have exceptional interpersonal skills, good communications skills and the ability to work on tight deadlines.
•Keeping cool and collegial under pressure is a must.
