Workshop Details:
Several developments in technology are transforming businesses today. With the global competition for suppliers, manufacturing and customers increasing dramatically, ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems are being enhanced with new technology to be more flexible and agile. This talk will show how the emergence of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) is harnessing the power of ERPs to transform businesses. Furthermore, enterprises are beginning to respond to the demand of 'green' practices. Carbon footprint will be incorporated in the supply chain to help estimate and mitigate environmental impact.
