Flixya is a privately owned online media company based in Los Angeles with a satellite presence in San Francisco.

The Los Angeles Zoo seeks students interested in adding to their portfolio by volunteering to work on projects for the games and activities section of our new website, which is scheduled to roll out in early Winter, 2007. Hours are flexible and most work can be done either remotely or in-house; most communication can happen online or by telephone. Projects can include very simple games, to sophisticated, multi-layered activities. We are looking for enthusiastic, competent students who can take the initiative and then follow through. In-house plant and animal images (and possibly video clips), as well as informational content can be provided. Additionally, other technology projects may become available to interested students.
