Disney Interactive Studios (DIS) has an internship in our Creative Development department, the DIS Think Tank. The DIS Think Tank provides a unique opportunity for creative and game design students to get hands-on, real-life experience in the interactive entertainment industry and have a little fun.

The Think Tank revolves around high concept development for original and existing IP as well as other various production projects. The DIS Think Tank is a full time (40 hours/week), paid internship that runs for 30 weeks. It is based in our Glendale, California office. We do offer relocation assistance. Quality Assurance – Video Game Tester - Wired Talent

The makers of Final Fantasy are seeking QA Testers. As a Game Tester you are the last line of defense in assuring that the product goes out glitch free and ready to play. When you play video games, do you spot bugs, or anomalies that just don’t belong? Do you love wandering outside of the norm to explore? Do you have the bird’s eye for detail?

Primary Responsibilities:
*Review translated media for errors.
*Review/Double-checking and correcting of data.
*Reporting bugs to database and the Lead QA Analyst.
*Assuring new patches and updates are functional.
*Assuring shipped product is fully functional.

Requirements:
*Ability to communicate effectively focused and detailed.
*Sufficient technical skills to work on a PC (drivers, etc...).


Technical Support Representative - Wired Talent

Summary: Assist customers with technical, account, and billing issues through phones, live chat, emails, and message boards.

Job Duties

• Takes phone calls and assist all customers with their issues
• Be logged into the phone at all times, using the Auto In, AUX, and After Call features
• Respond to e-mails in a timely manner, while being courteous and addressing their issue the best way possible

Qualifications

• Customer service is #1. Some Call Center experience is preferred.
• Good computer skills (i.e. knowledge of hardware, software, and networking)
• Good Oral and Written Communication Skills and Strong Planning, Organization, Problem Solving and Execution Skill
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form

Summary: Provide In-Game Customer Support.

Job Duties

• Monitor many aspects of the online servers
• Organize and run events for the player base
• Assist with the support of our chat channels
• Communicate game issues to supervisors
• Translate and edit public news announcements

Competencies
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

• Ability to be persuasive with customers, keeping “customer satisfaction” as a guiding factor.
• Good Oral and Written Communication Skills and Strong Planning, Organization, Problem Solving and Execution Skills.
• Have a strong understanding of MMORPG gaming, has played or is currently playing games within that genre.
